Upstart Ski Maker Plants 3,000 Trees
DENVER, Jan. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- For five thousand years, trees have been providing the material for ski making. Colorado ski maker, SKILOGIK, turned that around today by providing funds to plant 3,000 trees in a rainforest restoration project being carried out by The Nature Conservancy. The trees will be used to help restore and preserve threatened portions of Brazil's Atlantic Rainforest.

Loon Mountain's Superpipe First to Open in New Hampshire
LINCOLN, NH January 26, 2012 -- New Hampshire's Loon Mountain opened its 425' long superpipe today, making it the first superpipe to open in New Hampshire and the third to open on the East Coast.
